The ISI replacement DSC cell is designed to replace the standard DSC cell used on the 910, 2000 series and original Cell Bases. This cell can be installed in a standard or pressure cell cavity for the same price. The heat flux plate design with thermal cutouts offer increased signal due to better thermal isolation between the sample and reference sensors. This is demonstrated by two Indium scans comparing a standard TA cell and the ISI cell configured with a Constantan plate and thermal cutouts. Both cells ran the same Indium sample on the same Cell Base and computer controller. Results show a sensitivity increase of greater than two times. The flexible design offers a choice of two heat flux plate materials and two types of plate geometries. This makes the ISI cell a very cost effective and flexible replacement for your current equipment.
